Only 2 games survive in the 10’s Cup and Shield

The majority of the u10’s Cup and Shield games fell to the weather bar the MEK and Park games in both competitions. And it was the Tralee side that took a narrow win in both games.

Six from six for Athletic as they go top of 12’s:

Killarney Athletic are now on full points from their 6 games and top of the JK Sports 12 Division 1 thanks to a home win over Camp Juniors. Their goals came from Szymon Jasinski, Brian McCarthy, Cillian Coffey, Evan Doona, Grajan Pawlak and Jake Nash.

The other two games in the Division ended in 1-1 draws. Mastergeeha and Park drew 1-1 thanks to goals from Zach Cronin for the home side and Ethan Ballard for the boys from Tralee. Mark Looney scored for Killarney in the battle of the Celtic’s but Listowel equalised in the second half to ensure a share of the points.

Division 1 game ended early:

The u12 Division 1 game between The Park and Ballyhar was blown-up early by the referee and the weather took a turn for the worst and the game will be rescheduled.

MEK go joint top of 12 Division 2 South

A goal from Thomas O’Shaughnessy was enough to give MEK Galaxy B the win over Killarney Athletic and sees MEK go joint top of the Division. The other game was also decided by just one goal with a James Law-Braney goal giving Inter Kenmare B an away win at Killorglin B.

Park stay top of 12’s despite first points dropped:

Listowel Celtic did something that no other team has done in the u12 Division 2 North Top 4 section. They took points off the Park in a 3-3 draw but the Tralee side still lead the Division on 25 points from 9 games. Listowel Celtic remains in third place.

In the other game second placed Ballyheigue took advantage to close the gap on Athletic by two points. They defeated Mastergeeha 3-0 with goals from Xzavier, Mathew O’Sullivan and Aodhan Horgan.

All very tight in 14’s Division 2:

The Park’s goals came from Zach Garvey, Arek Jaszczynski, Marcus Connolly, Kuba Mikolajczuk, Marwan Elassar and Kristan Lyne.
