Leinster Youths were held to a 2-2 draw by Connacht in the opening game of the FA Youths interprovincial series in Eamonn Deacy Park while Munster overcame Ulster on a one-nil scoreline.
Scorers for Leinster were Dylan Kelly of Finglas United netted both goals for Joely Malone’s side.
Along with Kelly and Corduff’s Luke McCullugh and Crumlin’s Ben Best caught the eye for the LFA select.
Leinster face Munster on Saturday in what is a must win game if they have any pretensions of retaining the title won in Cork last year.
