Hickey makes LFA history with executive committee election

KAREN HICKEY from the Kildare and District League was elected to the LFA Executive Committee, the first woman to be elected to the LFA in the 131 year history of the Association at Satuday’s meeting in ths Conference Room, FAI Headquarters, Abbotstown

At the AGM, Pat Kiernan was re-elected as Treasurer

At the Senior Council meeting after the AGM, Noel Jordan from Carlow was elected President while David Moran from the Leinster Senior League was elected Vice President.

Outgoing President Tony Martin completed his two year term at the AGM and thanked everyone for all their support during his term as President
