ANDY NOONAN’S Leinster Senior League aristocrats strode to an impressive victory in the FAI Michael Ward Interprovincial series hosted in Dubln over the weekend.
Leinster overcame Ulster 5-1 to complete a grand slam adding to their 2-1 success over Munster on Friday evening and a similar 2-1 success over Connacht on Saturday.
In their final game Shane Stritch 2, Aaron Robinson, Sean Byrne, Gareth McCaffrey all found the net for Noonan’s Leinster Seniors while BJ Banda netted consolation for Ulster.
Everyone involved would like to wish a speedy recovery to Ulster’s Laurence Toland who was injured during the game and had to attend hospital.
