HOME FARM UNDER 9S STRIKE GOLD IN WICKLOW MOUNTAINS!

SATURDAY last proved to be a fantastic day out for Home Farm Under 9s who struck gold in the Garden County.

The squad participated in the Enniskerry FC tournament and all the boys were outstanding over the course of the busy programme of games they competed in.

Both teams performed really really well with brilliant individual and collective squad performances and  were deserving winners of the tournament and the ‘B’ team also performing admirably in all their matches.

Both teams played Park Celtic, Mountview and hosts Enniskerry and the team  coaches are Ralph Murray and Aaron Doherty.

The blue and white hoops certainly enhanced the club’s reputation in Co Wicklow with brilliant goals on display, great team work and great football In general. Coaches and parents are very proud of the talent on display in Wicklow with some excellent talent coming up the club ranks.

Team A – managed by Ralph Murray: Myles Soye, Sam Unwin, Luke Kelly, Kyle Murray, Charlie O’Callaghan, Jake Hogan

Team B – managed by Aaron Doherty: Billy Jalloh, Sean Doherty, Leon Kearney, Oisin O’Brien, Tom Leonard, Daniel Daly.

Many thanks to Aaron Doherty standing in today for Steven, he did a great job. Huge thanks to Enniskerry FC who were terrific hosts with superb facilities.

All the boys went home with medals around their necks and a stop off at McDonalds rounded off a perfect day for everyone.

Onwards and upwards for our Under 9s, Up the Farm! ⚽
