FAIRVIEW RANGERS moved level on points with Pike Rovers at the top of the Premier League table with a seven-star show this morning.

And Ballynanty Rovers also closed the gap on Pike after edging Regional United in a top of the table clash.

Fairview ut seven without reply against Coonagh United with Clyde O’Connell and Darragh Rainsford notching two goals each.

Geoffrey Judge was also on the mark against the newly-promoted side in an impressive victory for the View.

Ballynanty Rovers and Regional United looked like they were going to share the spoils with both sides locked at 2-2 late on, but Conor Ellis netted a penalty to secure all the points for Balla.

Michael Guerin and Adrian Power also netted for Rovers with Willie Griffin scoring both goals from United.

Elsewhere in Limerick’s top flight, Mungret shocked Aisling Annacotty 3-0. Cian Barry got amongst the scorers for Mungret.

Premier side Kilmallock made it a day to forget for Aisling as they beat the Aisling Annacotty B team 5-0 in the Munster Junior Cup (MJC) while Hyde Rangers edged Holycross 3-2 this morning.

Fairview Rangers B saw off Castle Rivers to advance to the next round of the MJC.
