In what has been a truncated season due to the outbreak of COVID-19, after the initial start was postponed, it is the two teams who finished first and second last season fighting to claim the trophy. Shelbourne currently occupy top spot on 28 points and this is their final fixture of the season. Peamount, however, still have one game in hand (away to Wexford Youths on December 5th), and sit just one point behind.
