U12 SFAI SKECHERS NORTON CUP FINAL
ST KEVIN’S BOYS……………4 SHAMROCK ROVERS………1
A DAY to remember for Aaron Donnelly at the Oscar Traynor. He scored two, made another, and delighted all with his dash and skill.

The sun shone. The National Anthem was played. And Kevin’s had the sharpest of starts.
It took a splendid performance from the Rovers ‘keeper, Todd Bazuna, to foil the Saints of further goals as they created a bagful of openings.
Todd made a collection of fine saves in the first half. The best of them came from Richie Vodo (twice) and the artful Aaron.
Chris Conlon showed his charm for Kevin’s. And Andy Paraschiv’s back-heel was among the highlights of the hour.
There were only two minutes on the clock when Donnelly nipped in for his first goal. The Hoops came more into it. Getting on the ball and making it stick.
And in the 13th minute, Ike Orazi nicked the equaliser from close-in. 1-1 at the break.
Ten minutes into the second half, Donnelly’s sweet finish restored Kevin’s advantage. Five minutes after that, his shot was blocked and rebounded to Paraschiv who turned it in.
And four minutes from time, Bezalel Agbontaen tucked in number four.
Just before the end, Zak Reddy’s 35-yarder hit the top of the Kevin’s bar. Such a moment of quality would have deserved a goal.
